More About Roses :

The American Rose Society offers a very large selection of Rose Care Articles for your reading pleasure. Many of these articles have received an Award of Merit for excellence in rose care information. Several have been published in our national magazine, American Rose, which is a benefit to you when you become a member.
We also feature a new rose every month as our Rose of the Month. The articles are about all kinds of roses - and are written by our members. If you would like to write a Rose of the Month article, be sure to let the E.Rose Web Committee know.

Another benefit of ARS Membership is the Handbook for Selecting Roses. An excerpt from this Handbook lists roses that have been tested by our national membership and found to be Very Good to Outstanding roses to grow. Certain varieties of roses perform extremely well in many different parts of the country. However, there are varieties that may do really well in one area that could be awful in yours. For tips on the best ways to determine what will do well in your area, check our Rosy Recommendations - you will find many fine, easy-care roses listed.

The American Rose Society also offers a variety of rose-related products right here on this site. Why not Shop Online?

As the International Registration Authority for Roses (IRAR), the American Rose Society provides space on the web for registering your new rose cultivars. You can visit the Recent Registrations page to see a list of the latest registrations.

Three National Rose Shows are held each year - and we have a list of the winners in the National Rose Show Results!
